In Search of Copernicus

Last Sabbath I had the privilege of preaching at my local Church. You can listen to the audio on this page or download the mp3 at the bottom of this post.

As I was praying about what to preach I started flicking through Evernote (oh how I love Evernote… to quote one of my favorite authors,”It is like my external brain”) I came across some observations that I had made about the Sermon on the mount last year and felt impressed that it was time to expand that into a sermon.

Thats exactly what I did. I used the shift from the geocentric world view to the heliocentric worldview (via Copernicus) to illustrate just how profound Jesus’ message was.

If you are interested in preaching the sermon yourself, you can download my notes below (They were only intended for me so apologies in advance for sloppy formatting and typos) and if you would like my keynote presentation, just ask in the comments (The main ideas/cheat-sheet slide is below).
