TL;DR: God created all the base elements of technology including the original data. We didn’t invent it, we are stewards of it.
The Lens: Building relationships is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work. And I’ve had the privilege of connecting recently with Derek Rippingale, Co-founder & Managing Director of Professional Advantage Pty Ltd.
Derek shared a concept with me that I want to shine a spotlight on:
Before we ask ourselves if artificial intelligence is friend or foe we need to return to first principles and ask the foundational questions. What is it made of? What are the building blocks and who made those building blocks? That will tell us who owns the technology.
If we can agree that God is the one who provided the raw materials and made it possible, then we must conclude that it belongs to Him. Therefore our role becomes that of stewards, not of owners.
